Online homework sucks !

It is Saturday afternoon and I am at home trying to get some work done. I went on the website to check and see if I had biology homework. Turns out there are three assignments that are due tonight at ten thirty. The only problem is that the chapters we actually covered in class are not even listed as an assignment. The assignments that are supposed to be due tonight are from chapters we have not even got to yet. This is not the first time this has happen. One time, I did not do the assignments that were not covered in class, but yet she took a grade for it. Then the last time, I made sure I did every single one of them even though we did not cover it. Then she told us that we did not have to do them if we have not covered them in class. On top of all of that, the stupid website acts retarded all the time. This is why I am completely ill with online homework and biology in general. I just get so irritated now. I am so ready to get out of school it is not even funny.

This past weekend...

This past weekend was so much fun! That Friday, I had to go to my Psychology class. After I got out of class, I went to get my hair washed and wrapped. I went home afterwards and was waiting for my friends to call me. My best friend, Niesha, goes to Clemson. A few of our friends and I were going to meet her there. Lauren came to my house as soon as she left work. Then, Lauren and I went to pick up Jasmine. The three of us went back to my house and put on our costumes. I was a racer chick, Lauren was a referee, and Jasmine was a pirot. While we were getting dressed, our friend Teyonday finally showed in her school girl costume. After we all was finished getting ready we headed to Clemson. We arrived at Niesha's dorm and waited for her roommates to get dressed. Once they were ready, we left and went to a huge party in Clemson. It was too many people in there and it was extremely hot. My hair wasn't straight anymore. It got so hot that I started sweating and it got curly. We didn't get back to the dorm until around four o'clock that morning. We had a crazy night.

What was I thinking !

Before the school year started, I wanted to get a new cell phone. At the time I had a Samsung Impression. It was a touch screen phone and it also would slide out to a full keyboard. When I first got it, I loved it. It barely gave me any problems until this past summer. The touch screen started to freeze up a lot. I did not mind because, I knew my upgrade would be soon. I told myself that i did not want another touch screen phone. Well, when I went for my upgrade, I ended up getting the HTC Inspire. It was all touch screen. At first, I thought it was pretty cool. I kept it for probably three weeks and decided to take it back. I thought it had way too much going on and I could not get used to it. I traded it for a Blackberry Torch. I have only had it for a few weeks and it is already freezing up and giving me all kind of problems. If I could get the Inspire back I would. I don’t know what I was thinking trading it in for the piece of crap I have now. It makes me mad every time i think about it.

If I had superpowers, I would want to be able to...

If I was asked ten years ago what type of superpower I wanted, I would have said something like flying. Now that im in college, its completely different. If I had superpowers, I would want something to help me in school. I would want my superpower to be like a smart gene.I want a type of power that would help me comprehend and memorize things more. Also something to help me write good papers. That way, I would not have to spend most of my time studying and writing papers for school. I could easily get things done and would be able to have every weekend to myself. There would be no more struggling to keep my grades high in order to keep my scholarships. Also, taking test would be a breeze. If it was possible, that would be so nice.

These next few weeks are going to be torture..

It is 12 o'clock at night, but for some reason, I am up writing a blog. There is so much on my mind right now. Tuesday, I got good news from my Math professor. He reminded me that the last session for us to meet for class is next Thursday. I was shocked at first because I didn't realize how quick class was going by. Overall, I am glad to have one less class to worry about. Now, I have to study for my Math final. Then, I have to write a lab report for next Thursday. Next Thursday is also the same day I take my lab midterm. I’m not too sure how that is going to play out. I also have to write a five page paper for biology and I have to write a paper for my English midterm. I am not looking forward to any of this. So far, most of my grades haven't been too good, so I really need to hit the ground running this week. These next few weeks are going to be torture.

Life takes some funny twists and turns...

Life really does take some funny twists and turns. In the past, there were times when I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, and later on down the line, I ended up doing the exact opposite. If I had gone by what i wanted to do my junior and senior year of high school, I wouldn't be attending Tri County Technical College. I'd be attending Winthrop University majoring in Graphic Design. Somewhere between now and then, life took some funny twists and turns and completely changed all of that. Now, I am a student at Tri County majoring in Expanded Duty Dental Assistant. In high school, i always thought I would be doing something in the Art cluster. I never thought I would end up in Health Care. I haven’t been extremely excited about my choice. I’m constantly thinking about whether or not this is what I want to do. Maybe life is just getting ready to take me through another surprise.

Biology Exam !

This morning, I had my first biology exam. I was up until four o'clock this morning studying. I actually felt a little confident about the test. When my professor passed them out, I did a quick look through to see what was on it. Normally, I like to start off with short answer questions, while all the information is still fresh on my mind. If I wait until I actually get to the question, more than likely I will forget. While I was looking through it, the questions were a whole lot harder than I expected. Of course, with my luck, the stuff I knew the most was not even on there. The diagrams i studied the most, was not on there either. The multiple choice wasn't that bad, but when I got to the written part, I sort of freaked out. I was probably the forth to last to finish. I tried to put an answer down for all of the questions, but I’m really not expecting a good grade.
